What are these worksheets?

These worksheets are for young learners at the primary school level to practice the English language skills assessed on the TOEFL Primary Step 1 and Step 2 Tests, and the TOEFL Primary Speaking Test.

This book of worksheets is divided into three skill areas: reading, listening, and speaking.

How can I use the worksheets?

These worksheets were developed for teachers looking for an extra way to provide students with practice in English language skills. The worksheets can be used with the teacher’s current curriculum.

They include independent practice activities and a few final activities where students need to work in pairs.

Each worksheet focuses on a skill (reading, listening or speaking) and a topic (e.g., holidays, animals, music). Each topic has worksheets at four levels of difficulty (1–4), as defined by the Level Descriptor tables for each skill area.

Teachers can assign the same level of a worksheet to all students in the class, or different students can receive a worksheet on the same topic, but at different levels. Teachers need to decide if a topic or level is appropriate for their groups of learners.
